Garaga is happy to have participated in the transformation of Greg’s garage into a gym!

September 24th 2021

GARAGA is happy to have participated in the first episode of La Force d’un Village, a brand-new home improvement show presented on CASA, a French channel in Quebec, where Saskia Thuot and Hugo Girard’s mission is simple, but so important: reward those who are always ready to help others!

More than a renovation show, La force d'un village will prove that with a little help, we can accomplish great things! “ - Hugo Girard on Salut Bonjour

PASSION is an essential value at Garaga

When La Force d’un Village’s team approached us to help transform Gregory's garage, we accepted right away!

How could anyone resist to Gergory’s big heart?

This Montrealer is very involved in his neighborhood and he coaches people in his living room for FREE!

"Greg has been training kids on a volunteer basis for 9 years. But we don't have a gym. We do it in our living room. We pack up the furniture. We sweep up. Greg always says, 'One day I'm going to have a gym in my garage. “ - Melanie, Gregory’s wife

A spectacular garage transformation!

He thoroughly deserved the transformation of his garage into a bright gym. Working out is so important for people's physical and mental health!

On the Day 1 and all the other days, “all the young and not so young people he trains showed up at Gregory's house to lend a hand as volunteers, this is the strength of a village”- Hugo Girard

Just like the transformations Gregory makes with people by helping them take charge of their lives and push themselves further, his garage has been completely transformed as well.

"We want to transform the garage into a friendly, safe and, most importantly, functional space. We're going to have to improve the lighting. A gym has to have a lot of light because when it's too dim, it lowers the energy level." - Hugo Girard

Garaga’s contribution?

To bring light into the garage, Garaga offered a Standard+ garage door with 2 rows of windows, and 1 LiftMaster door opener with integrated camera, entirely controllable from a cell phone.

Finished walls, built-ins, a brand new LiftMaster door opener, Gregory really has an awesome gym!

Giving back to your community is key

Garaga is a Canadian family business founded in 1983. We have been involved in the community ever since. We are happy to have been able to contribute to this dream come true for Gregory, a great man who will enjoy sharing his brand new facilities with others for free.
