Garaga adds a new garage door model: Shaker

April 26th 2016

To compliment the traditional and the carriage house designs seen on many houses of these same architectural styles, Garaga is adding a new garage door model pattern to its range of garage doors, the SHAKER model for its Standard+ steel door. This design is offered in two options: the traditional CC model, and the carriage house XS model.

Shaker CC

This model has a traditional look for cottages or manor house designs. The embossement is 21" x 15" and for a 9’ x 7’ door, there are 4 embossements.

Shaker XS

This model is mostly used for carriage house and country charm house designs. The embossement is 8 ½" x 14" and in groups of 4. For a single 9' x 7' door, there are 2 groups of 4 embossements.

As we were told by Mr. Maxime Gendreau, Director of Marketing at Garaga, “Consulting with consumers and our network of dealers uncovered that homeowners are asking for more choices of garage door designs. They are looking for a different door than their neighbors, something unique and beauty.”

Mr. Gendreau adds “These two new embossed doors are available for Garaga’s Standard+ door. This 1 ¾" door is injected with polyurethane foam and provides an R-16 thermal resistance factor. The Standard+ comes in 9 different colors. In addition to these 2 new door designs, the Standard+ includes 13 other model patterns.”

These new door designs can now be seen on Garaga’s Design Centre.
