Ideally based in Barrie (Ontario), our Financial Analyst is a key member of the Garaga finance team. He/she plays an active role within the organization by creating financial models to support decision-making, analyzing budget variances, and participating in the annual budgeting process. APPLY NOW!

Role and responsibilities of the Finance Analyst:
You will report to the Financial Controller • Partner and have those responsibilities.
- Oversee full accounting cycle, including month-end entries and balance sheet validation;
- Perform bank reconciliations, reconcile sub-ledgers with the general ledger, track fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses;
- Prepare financial statements and explain variances versus budget and prior year;
- Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with operations;
- Produce key performance indicators related to business activities;
- Contribute to improving existing processes;
- Produce ad hoc analyses and reports as needed;
- Participate in the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of ERP systems.
Required qualifications for our Finance Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or equivalent experience;
- Relevant experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities;
- Initiative, autonomy, and versatility;
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the region.
