As a Warehouse & Delivery Associate at Garaga, you'll ensure our high-quality products reach our clients safely, on time, and in perfect condition – because we know that every delivery matters. You'll support smooth warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, and managing our inventory with care and precision. You'll also be on the road, safely transporting our products to clients using company vehicles and equipment.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Starting date: As soon as possible
  • Number of positions to fill: 1
  • Salary: Hourly - To be discussed (based on experience)
  • Work hours: 40-hour work week
  • Job status: Permanent
  • Location: Red Deer, Alberta
  • Work shift: Day
    • Flexible schedule may be required to meet client needs- evening and weekends
    • Out of town overnight(s) stays may be required as per client requests for product delivery (over 4hrs away one-way)

As a Warehouse Associate and Delivery, you will:

Warehouse Operations:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Record and update inventory accurately in the system.
  • Organize and maintain stock in designated areas.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Delivery Duties:

  • Load, secure, and transport doors and related products to client locations.
  • Operate company-provided Ford F-350 truck with overhead rack and, when required, a 35-ft enclosed trailer.
  • Ensure proper handling and protection of products during transit.
  • Provide courteous and professional service at delivery sites.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof of delivery using company systems.

Additional Support:

  • Assist with loading/unloading at the Distribution Center as needed.
  • Support warehouse operations during downtime.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and safely under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy products (up to 75 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset).
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a driver’s abstract check.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
  • Forklift certification is an asset.
