Converting a Basement Area into a Garage

Is your home limited in storage space? Do you wish you had a convenient place where you could safely put away your tools, lawnmower or recycling bins?

Many homeowners struggle with inadequate storage space in their homes. When thinking outside the box, one homeowner found a creative solution to solve this problem. He converted a basemaent area into a garage. Instead of keeping the patio doors leading from his walk-out basement, the homeowner replaced them with a garage door equipped with an electric opener. He then added insulation to the rooms’ walls and ceiling in order for the garage to be up to code.

Although this new garage space was not needed for his car, the homeowner now has lots of storage, including room for his snowmobile and motorcycle.

Garaga makes garage doors of every size. They can make a door as small as 4 feet wide by 6 feet high, or one as wide as 20 feet. Their doors can even be installed to create an RV garage! They can customize the door you choose so it fits perfectly in your space. All your needs and wants can become reality with Garaga.

When customizing your garage door, we recommend incorporating windows in your design. They allow natural light to pour in while adding charm and interest to your door. Here, we have placed the beautiful “Panoramic” model from Garaga. If privacy is an issue, the windows can be made with satin or tinted glass. All windows in Garaga garage doors are made with tempered glass in order to keep everyone safe.
