As our maintenance manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment. You will also be responsible to follow our process accordingly to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Starting date: As soon as possible
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Regular Hours of Work: 40 hrs./ week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Our Maintenance Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
  • Perform highly diversified duties to help install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
  • Plan for maximum effectiveness of maintenance staff
  • Mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to assist in performing required maintenance and service
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Develop and execute long term strategy for maintenance team development

The Maintenance Manager Profile we are looking for:

  • 5 years of general maintenance experience is required.
  • Previous experience successfully supervising employees, including directing work, evaluating performance, and coaching for improvement is required
  • Experience troubleshooting and correcting electrical or mechanical problems, maintaining inventory levels and scheduling work is required.
  • Experience in tracking and improving production equipment OEE through continuous improvement methodologies.

Physical Demands of the Maintenance Manager position

  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
  • Must be able to lift frequently 75 pounds at times.
  • Must have specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
