We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator who has a proactive approach to problem solving and wants to be part of a growing Canadian manufacturing company.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Continuous Improvement Coordinator number 1 priority will be to support the production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture.

As a Continuous Improvement Coordinator, you will:
- Be responsible for daily audits to ensure manufacturing processes are maintained
- Be responsible for establishing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture
- Participate in cross-functional critical business projects utilizing continuous improvement techniques to identify and eliminate waste throughout the business
- Manage improvement projects
- Work directly with the Production Manager to plan, set in motion, and execute specific CI projects
- Provide technical processing expertise to support yield improvement activities
- Work with Quality Assurance to identify areas to improve the process to perform within existing specification ranges
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance to ensure tasks are being done in coordination with each other
- Oversee plant organization project including monitoring progress and assisting team members with action items and tools
- Run simulations of actions on the line to ensure safest, most efficient method is chosen
- Define the standard time for work actions using the MOST system
- Acting supervisor for when the shift supervisor is not available
- Assist with production scheduling or IT troubleshooting whenever required
- Support production and maintenance teams as required
What we are looking for in our Continuous Improvement Coordinator:
- Bachelor of Science/Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing
- Experience in process improvement
- Knowledge of the principles within a technical area/discipline as well as knowledge and application of continuous improvement techniques
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Strong Computer Skills (MS Office, SharePoint, Teams and more)
