To lift a garage door, all you need are two fingers!
A professionally installed and well-designed garage door only weighs three to four kilograms. That's why you only need two fingers to lift it. If it takes more than that, your door needs to be adjusted.
Your expert installer will conduct a 10-step inspection, perform the necessary adjustments and lubricate the weather-stripping and hardware.
- Lubrication and adjustment of rollers and hinges
- Lubrication of torsion springs as well as the end and centre plates
- Adjustment and balancing of torsion or extension springs
Note: Garaga strongly recommends the installation of safety cables with extension springs.
- Adjustment of set screws, drums, springs as well as centre coupling and their anchor plates
- Adjustment of lifting cable tension
- Adjustment of vertical and horizontal tracks (alignment and wall attachment)
- Verification and lubrication of exterior frame and door bottom weather stripping
- Adjustment and lubrication of door opener's electrical component including trolley
- Adjustment of all security systems (mechanical or photoelectric)
- Verification of proper operating condition of all electric door opener accessories, if applicable (wall control, remote control and battery, digital keypad and battery, exterior emergency release key lock)
