Our tune-up program

The Garaga Experts tune-up program allows you to act before a problem actually occurs, thereby avoiding unpleasant surprises and unexpected costs. Our Expert conducts a 10-point inspection and performs the necessary adjustments. Each and every door component is inspected and all weatherstripping and hardware is lubricated. In the event some parts need to be replaced, the Garaga Expert will prepare a written estimate and hand it to you before the work begins. This work is covered by a one-year warranty on labour for a residential door and six-month warranty for a commercial and industrial door. This program is also available to all those who are experiencing problems with their garage door.

Inspection:

• lubrication and adjustment of rollers and hinges
• lubrication of torsion spring as well as end and center plates
• adjustment and balancing of torsion springs
• adjustment of tension of lifting cables
• adjustment of vertical and horizontal tracks (alignment and wall attachment)
• verification and lubrification of exterior frame and door-bottom weatherstripping
• adjustment and lubrication of door opener's electrical components
• adjustment of all safety systems (mechanical or photoelectrical)
• verification of proper operating condition of all electric door opener accessories, if applicable (wall control, remote control and battery, digital keypad and battery, exterior emergency release key lock, etc.)

The Garaga Experts basic 2-year warranty is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. Our warranty covers the door, the hardware, the weatherstripping, the garage door opener when sold by Garaga when installation has been performed by a Garaga Experts specialist.

Dura System (residential door)

Studies conducted by Garaga reveal that when purchasing a garage door, customers base their choice on the following criteria: durability, sturdiness, the quality of the parts and accessories.

In response to the demands of the market, Garaga introduces 20,000-cycle doors: long wear quality. These "20,000 cycles" are to the garage doors what "100 watts" are to a sound system or "40,000 BTUs" are to a barbecue. Just as the watts and BTUs refer to the power of the units, the "cycles" express the durability of the doors.

These 20,000 cycles significantly increase the relative lifespan of a garage door, since the lifespan is closely tied to the product's daily use. For example, based on three cycles per day (365 days/year), torsion springs will perform efficiently for 18 years.

These 20,000 open/close cycles are made possible thanks to a combination of factors: 20,000-cycle torsion springs, 14-gauge galvanized steel tracks, steel rollers and welded anchoring plates and installation by Garaga Experts.
