Garaga introduces a new garage door for contemporary homes

May 1st 2012

Garaga has unveiled the latest addition to its extensive line of residential garage doors, the California.

With retractable all-glass panels, this new door will please owners of contemporary or modern homes who desire numerous windows to enhance the architectural beauty of their home. The California’s all-glass panels have frames (aluminum extrusions) that come in three colors: clear anodized, white or black. Window choices are varied and come in sealed “thermo” panes, clear, satin, and tinted. Other types of glass are also available.

California doors

This 1 ¾-inch door is manufactured with one of Garaga’s most important standards of quality foremost in mind, that of strength. For large-sized doors, panel ends are doubled to 6 ¼" to provide unequalled strength. The California is available in widths from 4 to 16 feet and heights of 6 to 12 feet, making it especially attractive for recreational vehicles owners.

This door model can also be used by homeowners who have patios or sunrooms that they would like to close off when evenings are cooler. Many will also choose to use the California for boathouses on lakes.

Garaga offers a vast choice of residential garage doors. Consumers can view their next garage door purchase by using Garaga’s Design Centre www.garagadesign.com. For renovation projects, visitors can upload a photo of their house and experiment with a multitude of looks until they find the door that suits them best.
